Panasonic Lumix LX3: Available firmware 2.
Panasonic has announced in the last hours that it has updated again (and we're part four) the firmware for its Lumix LX3, compact camera with wide angle lens and full manual control, releasing the version identified by the number 2.0. Numerous improvements and innovations that were introduced, the most important seems to affect the autofocus, which now provides better performance in what has been made faster by 20%, significant improvements were also made to the function that relates the white balance automatically. Improvements were also made to the functionality of bracketing and exposure compensation, completely new are the methods of recording video in 1:1 format and the one for removing the annoying red-eye effect that often occurs when the shots are made using flash included.
