Panasonic promotes the AVCHD Lite
Panasonic uses the launch of FT1 and TZ7 to promote high quality compressed video standard, structured joint forces with Sony Corporation. Standard dates back to AVCHD 'in 2006, created to accompany the HDV and MiniDV, l ' acronym means AVCHD Advanced Video Codec High Definition. The Lite version promoted on modern cameras, allows to reach higher level of compression, with the same image, when compared with the standard HDV. The codec used is MPEG-4 AVC (H.264). Thanks to 'use of 720 lines, instead of 1080, cameras that adopt this standard doubles the recording time than the conventional format Motion JPEG, and also support the USB data at high speed. L 'adoption of that format on compact cameras has the undoubted advantages, but clashes with the quality offered by small-sized sensors. The recording and playback compatibility is guaranteed only to players and recorders, DVD and Blu-Ray AVCHD certified. Many brands, have joined forces to AVCHD Lite, a leading include: Adobe Systems, Apple, Atem, ArcSoft, Avid Technology, Buffalo, Canon, Canopus, Chain Hualu Group, Corel Corp. CyberLink Corporation, Dijon, D & M Holdings, Focus Enhancements, Funai Electric, IO Data Device, Roland Corporation, Magix, Micro-Star, MainConcept AG, Nero AG, NEC Electronics Corporation, Pegasys, Pinnacle Systems, Pioneer, Pixel, Plannet, Renesas Technology Corp. , Samsung, Sharp, Techno Mathematical, Ulead Systems, Victor, Limited (JVC), VideACE, WERFT22 AG, Yamaha This format becomes tangible reality even in the consumer landscape photography, a bet that will yield durability or just a dedicated attempt to soon give up?
